Light Swan is a luminous dress created from fibre optics and neopixel LEDs. The piece is shaped by the environment around it, mimicking the colours of the city and the movements of the performer. This work experiments with integrating technology, materials and art to demonstrate the potential of wearable electronics and making the viewer part of the performance.
Light Swan is a moving piece that performed throughout the 2015 Wellington LUX festival, helping guide and light the path for viewers.
