This project is a subproject of #Ion wind loudspeaker experiments.

As you probably can see from photos, there are two versions of the blower. I do not differentiate them, because they performed similarly, and had the same fundamental problem - sparks tended to happen near the plastic, causing it to burn and lose dielectric properties, quickly rendering the thing unusable.

This blower was a big leap of the project, because it was the first one which made quite some sound! Proof of concept, that is.
