The hardware is based on an arduino leonardo, but heavily modified for this application.
Some key features are:
- Laser Gaming Sensor (up to 8200 cpi and 12,000 fps)
- Arduino compatible (but requires special board file and modified bootloader)
- usb and bluetooth connection
- charge Controller for optional LiPo battery
- 5 buttons by default
- i2c extension port
- all parts are printed with a normal FDM printer
- hardware and software are made using open source software (KiCad, OpenSCAD, ArduinoIDE)
i really hope you upload the pcb design stuff as im really interested in making one of these. Im currently using a mouse that is included with a keyboard it's buttons are really bad and keep breaking so i have to rebuy it every 6 months. with your design we could pick what we want for the buttons and other things.
I have a disability that means I can only use really small mice, small mice don't have gaming features so thats another reason for me to watch this project because you are doing exactly what I need!
hope you continue! :)
