I spent today testing if this CNC-Dremel could mill aluminium. Specifically I'd like to mill (instead of hand file) these odd shaped holes that are needed in front-panels of electronics enclosures.
I'm trying terminal posts first - two slightly different sizes.
- Good smaller fit.
- Too big.
- Clamping failed.
- Good larger fit.

On the positive side: No tedious filing. On the negative side: Each hole takes almost an hour.
It's do-able but I can tell that the forces are almost too much.
