This design is based on the Word Clock style of display, but shows the current conditions and the forecast for tonight and tomorrow. The display shows the highs, lows, chance of precipitation, snow forecast, and a conditions icon. An Arduino Yun accesses the Weather Underground API for the data and a sketch displays the icon based on the forecast. There is a grid of 100 addressable LEDs, built from Adafruit NeoPixels. The faceplate is laser cut acrylic made by Ponoko and I built the wood frame using a colonial style moulding.

Did build myself a Wordclock in several Styles (Stars wars, engl., German,... eg.) and am thinking of a Version for Weather and one for the Date, to put all three on the wall
