So I'mma move 'em here.
His brilliant idea is to simulate a high-speed camera by making use of the Red, Green, and Blue sensors in a typical camera at separate times... strobing the scene with Red Green and Blue LEDs sequentially.
The idea, then, is by strobing them bright enough and fast enough, he might be able to achieve up to 1million stills per second...
(WHOA!)
Concept *definitely* proven, his initial experiments look great.
But...
So far, only 3 frames, total...
So, then, the question has arisen: can he squeeze more than 3 frames out of it?

To which, my thought is, there must be a way to get a few more frames by strobing the LEDs in simultaneous combinations, as well. (E.G. strobe Red and Green simultaneously).

Logically, as Ted's pointed-out, there's, essentially, "three equations" and thus only "three unknowns" can be derived... The three-equations being those of each color-channel. While this seems logical, there seems to be a ton more possibility here, somewhere buried within knowledge of how the system samples, etc...

And, frankly, now that I'm writing this, I've a vague feeling quite a bit more can be derived from this knowledge... but I can't place it.

So, where I was at *before* I started writing this up... was that there're *definitely* some additional "equations" that are easy to set-up...
When the system's set-up with a tripod, and calibrated exactly as it will be during the image-capture, then one could take photographs of the *empty* image, before-hand...
