This project consists of a rugged truck frame converted into an electric skateboard chassis. The front and rear axles are driven independently of one another, one with an AC motor and the rear with a high-torque DC motor. An additional AC motor is connected to the rear axle through a divorced NP205 transfer-case.
Steel equipment cases sit on either side of the rear driveshaft and contain a Soliton1 1000 amp DC motor controller, Curtis 1239-8501 144v AC motor controller, 100ah 12v LiFePO4 auxiliary battery, 1000 amp DC breaker, 800A fuse, and reversing contactor.
Additionally a set of contactors allowed for the system to run from either the built-in 48-cell 100ah LiFePO4 battery pack, an external modular battery pack, or both simultaneously.
