DS1721 is a temperature sensor from Maxim Dallas. We did some prototyping today using this chip and as a side effect we published Python code snipped demonstrating use of this chip. This is a part of something larger coming soon.

You can grab it from https://iobtoolkit.com/s/github/. It requires I/O Blocks Toolkit for Python (of course), but this should not be a problem, giving our excellent quality installer. :)
