Hi guys,
I searched the Internet to see how modern drum modules look like, and it turns out that all the expensive ones look the same. Since eXaDrums' drum module is a touchscreen, I thought it would be nice to make the GUI look like an expensive drum module.
The following drawing was inspired by the Roland TD-30 drum sound module:
I adapted a few things to provide most of the functionalities that will be included in eXaDrums.
It's actually kind of funny to see how doing such a simple thing as drawing a user interface really helps to define the future features. Now I'm thinking about adding a metronome, a rhythm coach, an equalizer, etc. All these things will make eXaDrums so much cooler!
Cheers.
