Hi guys,
I'm now using a Raspberry Pi 3 with Ubuntu MATE 16.04. It doesn't change the fact that eXaDrums still works on a Raspberry Pi 2 (and possibly B+), and Raspbian.
I thought it would be nice to see how eXaDrums performs on a Pi 3, so I measured the latency real quick. It's almost the same as the Pi 2, which is kind of expected, but still below 10ms, and even a bit more. I measured 8ms, and frankly, it becomes difficult to measure because the sound signal is almost blended in the raw piezo output... Anyway, the very interesting thing is that there's absolutely no jitter, it was consistently 8ms, all the time. So probably 8ms +/- 0.5ms.
Cheers.
