Well the score board work out quite well.

The score did update as the game was happening, sometimes it would update before the score on the T.V. and sometimes afterwards.

The game segments updated as expected (Pre-game, Halftime, Final, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarters)

Things to add in the future:

Ball location, what yard it's currently at.

A quarter timer countdown from 15:00, and sync with the clock every few seconds.
