The following is from an email I wrote to two friends with my initial ideas back in August, 2011:
Designed over a 160 wide by 128 tall OLED display, slightly larger than what Doniol chose. This allows for a significantly larger face when using a 270˚ sweep
Gauge Faces:
1x270˚ sweep gauge face
Display 2 needles, one for Boost and one for EMP if desired (This is where I need your help, how high do EMPs get?)
2x135˚ sweep gauge faces, opposed in orientation, looking very similar to a full 270˚ sweep
User selectable display for each gauge. One EMP, one IMP, one vacuum (VNT actuator control), Mix and match 2 or 3 of those three on each face (if you don't understand I'll explain later)
Customizable between multiple color schemes
Pressure readings in PSI & Bar
Selectable boost ranges with max values at 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 PSI. For Bar readings, they are 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, and 4 bar.
Optional EGT hookups via screw post terminations. K-Type probes only. $20 addition if this really is as simple as I'd like to think
Optional Vacuum sensor, to watch VNT actuator control. ~40-60 for the feature as the sensor is ~$20 and then I just need code
Optional taps to hook into existing MK IV IMP sensors for the old Doniol crowd. No charge, might not be a feature
Reprograming of Doniol's gauge with my software *if* I use his original controler.
Pressure Gauges will be constant self adjusting to current barometric pressure. Don't worry about mountain driving.
