Modelling the brushless motors
03/20/2016 at 22:50 • 0 commentsOur team is split in small groups to balance the workload. I, Raphaël is part of the Wheelbase, electronics and programming group.
I just modeled the Quanum 360 kV brushless motor we will use in our build in SolidWorks. Here are some photos. Everything will be available soon in our Git repository, but we have to check everything works before doing that. In particular the motor was very difficult to measure due to it's round shape and inaccessible measurement points.
We know that we are quite short in time, so we are speeding up, the logs shall be written by the other teams, stay tuned ! (There is about one month remaining)
