Inside that computer case is an old AT power supply. It's even got a custom (aka nonstandard) mounting pattern. But when I bought it I got it to be a bench power supply and I bought 2 just in case I fired one.
Details
Here is a better description and breakdown of what is inside this "box".
I'll be adding more pictures soon and describe how I have those speaker connectors wired up to the power supply. I have to replace the power supply since I seemed to have blown the -12 volt supply. I sadly have the -12 vols currently hooked up to the switch side of the +12 volt connectors. The unswitched section of the connectors is +12 volts. I have an extra set of the speaker connectors and I will try to document the process I went through to get them hooked up to the power supply. Of course I will have to cut another hole in that wood face plate as well.
I will also need to add a switch for the fan which I use as a fume extracter.
