This is one of my entries for the Open Hardware Design Challenge, and the Robotics Module Challenge.
Most vehicle manufacturers don't want people messing around with their vehicle hardware and software, so they make it really hard to control your vehicle without manually actuating the gas/brake pedals and steering wheels.
While there are some solutions available, they're either too invasive, specific to certain vehicles, or are just plain unsafe. This project aims to make controlling your car easy, minimally invasive, and safe.
