Didn't know where to look for the full results. *lol*

Thank youse, Hackaday and Adafruit - I must have been extra lucky because there were so many great projects! I don't have 170 Pi Zeros, but what I can give back is to make this project as cool as possible, and share all the deets with Hackadaysers. Thanks all!
I hope I get the one Lady Ada nibbled ("autographed").

Darn..... I really wanted a pi zero. I could have used it in my project.....

I'm pretty sure now that I'll never see a Pi Zero, ever.

Congrats to the winners!

Congrats! I feel like I was close :) will continue the project because these ones are just well documented, but not necessarily most attractive/needed. I think the one which is taking full advantage of Pi Zero's size and price should win ;) just saying

The project links don't have a href attribute, so don't work...

3 of them have, just saying if one tries it out and wants to say you're wrong :)

Odd - I could have sworn this was working before. Fixed now though!

No reason not to complete your project. :)

Can't really do that, I don't have any of my components.
Quote mom "Win the raspberry pi zero and I'll but the other stuff."
So now I'll just have to abandon this idea, I guess.

No, if the project is worth doing, you just find another way to make progress.
Don't let the outcome of a contest change your goals.

I'll think about actually doing it... But now the pi zeros are out of stock again. Won't make the contest probably.
Thanks for encouraging me though c:

Scrounge up the money for your project. Buy a few cases of water at costco, go to a sporting event and sell them for a dollar a piece

Sounds like a catch-22 since you needed some sort of prototype to be considered for the contest.
I'll tell you what: be resourceful and find a way to get any Pi (A+ is only $20) and the character LCD, show that you can make them work together in a post on your project, and I'll send you one of my WiFi Pants r3 prototypes (WiFi and 5V boost).

WIFI PANTS - how has no one ever thought this before?!
