What a coincidence! I just added a log entry with some musings about the extraordinary imperfections of a Chinese LM2596 DC/DC converter, and then this picture appeared in "My Feed".Check this out: https://hackaday.io/project/16097-eforth-for-cheap-stm8s-value-line-gadgets/log/51072-a-dcdc-converter-with-a-voltmeter
HAAAAAA! That is tremendous!
Looks legit to me :D
It probably has a very low quiescent current.
Cheap module ordered online? I have started putting simple SCR/fuse crossbars after these converters because I don't trust them :-) Even with the added parts, it's still cheaper than a module from a reputable supplier.
The lowest! That's an eBay order for my overhead LEDs / camera rig thing, since the LEDs get a bit warm I want to be able to dimm them.
Are you going to control the brightness by inserting and removing that piece of paper? ;-)
hm, I think the resistance would be too high.
