What is LoRa Network?

Are you looking for a cheap wireless solution? Maybe LoRa is right for you. It stands for Long Range, and is a patented digital wireless data communication technology. It's a type of low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) modulation technique that operates on unlicensed sub-gigahertz radio frequency bands. LoRa is known for its ability to transmit data over long distances with minimal power consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered devices in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. 📡

Meshtastic is an open-source project that allows you to create your own off-grid, long-range communication network. It uses inexpensive, low-power LoRa (Long Range) radios to send text messages and GPS data without the need for Wi-Fi, cell service, or satellites.

I have used LoRa for a refrigelator temperature sensor. The problem with this sensor is that the battery life is only last for 2 months.
