Pi runs OpenElec and connects to an AT&T Wifi Hotspot. Video can be controlled via the controller or via a phone connected to the same hotspot. I use the Kore Android app, as well as the Raspberry Pi SSH app to run simple commands (uptime, get temperature, shut down). I also use VNC to mirror the video from the front seat although it's pretty laggy.
