Description

An ESP8266 with a ALC5628 DAC+AMP capable of driving Motors and Servos intended for up-cycling old toys into web controlled talking robots.

*ESP8266-12 wifi module
*Dual L9110 (800ma) H-Bridge ICs
**For small DC motors.
*ALC5628 DAC+AMP
**Drive an 8 0hm speaker
*Screw Terminals to attatch motors, bettery, speakers
**Strip wires in up-cycled toys and attatch directly to the board.
*Drive up to 8 servoes
**1 motor, 6 servoes
**2 motors, 4 servoes
**8 GPIO for sensors -i2c broken out -ADC broken out

  • 1 × esp8266
  • 1 × alc5628 Resistors (Fixed) / Wirewound
  • 2 × l9110s
  • 1 × 74HC595 Electronic Components / Misc. Electronic Components
  • 1 × AP2112K-3.3V

Boards are on their way. As for software, It'll be compatible out of the box with Bowler Studio. it should also be compatible with arduino, nodeMCU, and anything else that runs on the esp8266. Getting the 595 and the i2s dac working is the hard bit but i'll be releasing all my code for bringing thoes up.

This looks great. Eight servos are enough to make a simple quadruped robot already. What do you plan to run as the firmware?
