Purchase parts on BOM (bill of materials) link

Board - can purchase directly from OSH Park link or make your own (link to design files)

Enclosure - 3D Print, CNC, Hand Fabricate, etc

Strip connector - (3D Print, CNC, Hand Fabricate, etc) for strips you are using

Download current firmware from Github repsository

Install needed software:
1. MPLABX -Integrated Development Environment for PIC Microcontrollers
2. XC8 -free C Compiler for MPLABX

Step 7

Once communication is established you can compile and upload code to the board.

Open current firmware in MPLABX

Step 9

Connect PICkit3 to PIC16F1786 or the PIC16F1789

Step 10

Connect Power to the Board and the USB cable from the PICkit3 to your computer
