1Step 1
There are two versions of the router. Follow this page
https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/unbranded/a5-v11
to upload firmware.
Use my custom image from files section of this project.
-
2Step 2
The default ip on ethernet is 192.168.1.1
Connect by telnet to this ip and set root password then will ne telnet disabled and you can use ssh.
-
3Step 3
Configure network in /etc/config/network
-
4Step 4
Connect RTL dongle to device and try rtl_test.
When you get errors, there is problem with power. Use only good micro usb cable !!
When rtl_test works you are done and you can run rtl_tcp or dump1090.

this look awesome and i look forward to test it out on hame mpr-a1 or tp-link mr3020. i have a similar plan to run openwrt with usb-hub-extroot kernel module for extra storage (luci), sdr dongle and an empty port for other (ie: upconverter) fun stuff.
