Reverse Engineering of several polygon mirrors
05/13/2014 at 14:52 • 0 commentsIn November last year, i reverse engineered several polygon mirror units of some laser printers i've got from friends. I also ordered some further units from ebay. Now a attiny2313 regulates the mirror motor speed. The attiny2313 should be a part of the openexposer (shield) or arduino compatible board later. Then it should be possible to configure the used polygon mirror unit by jumpers or a firmware flag.
