Stuff arrived:
- Components (Except STM32F469V)
- 5 Inch DPI LCD (RGB - 40pin)
(New 5 inch LCD compared to the 2nd design)
Ordered but waiting:
- PCB (Expected at weekend)
- Microcontroller (STM32F469V - Sample requested from ST. since the uC is bit rare)
This time, design incorporate a Class AB amplifier to drive speaker (via DAC).
This will be used to generate original like VT100 bell.

"their frequency response, in most cases, is inferior to that of other technologies, especially with regards to bass and midrange"
"This is why they are generally used in applications where volume and high pitch are more important than sound quality."

I'm confused, I thought the point was the emit a 800Hz tone, not play music.

the piezo element sound will be different that of the sound made by VT102.
Not playing music, but the audio recording.
