This hackerspace is now definitely closed.
Due to the difficulties to get a new local to put our stuff and the demotivation of the hackspace staff the general assembly who occured the wed 5 april 2017 was really a lot awaited about the future of the association.
During the assembly a dissolution vote was launched and voted unanimously.
The remaining funds will be donated either to the new association created or to another association who should be also law 1901 (according to the statutes of hackgyver).
Over the years, we fighted with the French administration for subventions and to participate into local events, the word 'hack' in 'Hackgyver' have afraid a lot of bureaucrats and was clearly a problem for us.
Being a hackerspace haven't helped, compared to fablabs no plan exist to get helps/support from the town hall of Belfort, the administration and their friends asked us multiples times to rename the association, we didn't.
But we are fatigued of this, altought we was actively participating into events/meeting repair cafes/congress etc... the hackerspace was just slowy dying from the inside.
We have discussed about the possibility of making a new association (possibly called HG-Lab, name isn't yet found) for which a meeting is scheduled on Saturday 29 April 2017 in the rantanplan room (near the UTBM foyer).
The hackerspace would be recreated as fablab but once again nothing yet is decided.
Thank you for the fun over these years and we hope to see you at the meeting for Sat 29 Apr.
This page will be no more updated.

The association committee changes every year.
The primary goal of Hackgyver is to introduce technology to the mass, to share our passion and develop better ideas together, we are here for having fun and making new friends, we participate also to popular festivals and cultural events about technology and sometime we also organize them.
The annual membership fee of the hackerspace is €15 (dirt cheap!)
Keep up the good work on the Hackerspace Logs. Are any more of your members on io? You can associate them to this page.
