Description

This is a pair of devices that can be worn and used to locate each other. Each will include a small 2 way radio, a directional finder and proximity finder. Each device will have a display with a circular compass indication the direction the other device is in, a color to indicate distance from each other, and a button in the center to activate an alert and 2 way audio

Details

The devices will come with various clip attachment for wearing options. A strap for the wrist, a necklace, a clip to attach to clothes.

Components

1 × APRS GPS position encoder Decodes any NMEA-0183 compatible serial GPS sending $GPRMC or $GPGGA sentences. Transmits position, altitude, speed, heading, and timestamp (hour/minute/seconds or day/hour/minute). Supports SmartBeaconing, which adjusts transmission rates to speed and turning. Can transmit position in MIC-E, NMEA, or APRS ASCII text format. Burst after voice / Send Position Now input. Handles position resolution down to 7 inches.
