On startup the game waits for the two players to press any key, meaning they are ready to play. Then it displays their part of the battlefield along with the spacecraft which can shoot up to five missiles continuously and is gradually reloading as soon as a missile reaches the end on the other side. We limited the number of missiles so it is not possible to just spam as many as you want, making the game more interesting. As soon as a missile hits the enemy spacecraft the game is over and prints the corresponding message to the winner/loser. A new game starts when both players signal again that they are ready. Yay! I'm so glad you're posting up details here. I loved seeing the 2-play head to head game at the Hackaday Belgrade Conference, and the four of you were having so much fun showing it off. Great times!
