Found/fixed a few mistakes in V6.0 (Bringup log in Git has more details here). Had some trouble with fake fuel gauge ICs from an Ebay/Amazon sellers *big surprise* (picture down bellow showing an OEM chip on the right vs fake on the board). Amazon seller sent 5 ICs each different from the next.
Decided to switch new fuel gauge ICs (MAX17048) that could be sourced from a reputable seller so fingers crossed this version works. V6.1 was designed to use the same ATSAMD21G18 MCU as V6.0 but this will be my last 3 of these ICs.
A V6.2 is in the works and will be the next and hopefully last design which will use the smaller sibling to the ATSAMD21G18, the ATSAMD21E18 of which I was able to source an additional 10 ICs.
V6 is in the works after acquiring some Unobtanium MCUs to test with. Qi was dropped due to constraints with board space and chip supply. Stay tuned!
Took took time this weekend to add a guide on how to build the current revision of the Vortex watch. Check out the link below for more details on the watch assembly process.

Thanks! I would estimate $200-400 depending on if you decide to print the case in plastic or metal.
Ah ok... what mirror are you using to get that ‘infinity’ effect?

There are some links to the exact material I bought in the posted Instructable link

I love this - it's such a cool idea for a watch. It looks so sci-fi!
How much does this cost to build?
