Solder LEDs together:

- Anode red to Cathode green

- Cathode red to Anode green

Solder a 10KΩ 1W resistor to each LED solder joint.

Solder the other side of each resistor to one of the wires of the power cord.

Inspect contraption that non of the solder joints touch each other. Insulate all solder joints appropriately with electrical tape or heat shrink.

Put LEDs and resistors on a non-flameable non-conductive surface.

Do NOT hold the resistors or LEDs in your hands and then plug the power plug into an outlet. Enjoy LEDs blinking. If you have a new phone with high speed video recording, I really would like to see a slow motion video to actually see the LEDs blinking.
