Great to hear. What did you do for the base? I still trying to figure out how to display them nicely.

I used either a 0.9mm or 1mm carbide drill from ebay, place inside a dremel. I probably used the dremel shaft extension for that one.
For the wiring I used two 0.1mm enameled copper wires, twisted together.

Had someone help me with it a month or two ago and he brought the drill bits and did the drilling while I did the soldering. It turned out pretty nice.
