turntable motorized turntable automatic turntable display table magnetic diy 3D printed 3d printing

This project was created on 01/15/2019 and last updated 7 years ago.

Description

This is a general purpose motorized turntable. Two sizes have been designed, for different space constraints and force outputs. The special feature of this design is that it uses magnets to allow for easy switching of different top plates.

There is a video which has more details and shows how to assemble both sizes:
https://youtu.be/cBNzXSJFYJ8

The different top plates I have included are:
- Basic flat plate
- Plate with many different M3 mounting holes
- Plate that accepts lego pieces

These turntables use continuous rotation servos which helps keep the cost very low.
