Hi @Nism0 — I updated the list of components and added the link for the eInk I used.

I tried to use another eInk screen, spoke with a few providers from China and the problem was the interface between the screen and Raspberry Pi. If you are knowledgeable in electronics, you might be able to solve it easily but that's not my case. 

I have texted a few members of this community seeking help and some of them were very helpful. if you want more detailed and advanced eInk projects you can check  the profile for  @Wenting Z.

Awsome project, but where did you find so big e-paper display? And BTW - is it possible to use one from disassembled e-book reader?

I have the device working in my desk non-stop. However, if I only use the battery, with the current configuration it last around 3 days.

My current configuration is:

1. Wifi/Bluetooth always enabled

2. Show new image every 5 minutes

3. Web Server/App always running

If you change those values, you can make the device last longer. This is the module that handles the timing for those functions.

How long this device working? Is possible sleep RPi? Is possible turn on-off only few hours per day?

I thing completly offgrid device
