Inside the locked section of the briefcase was a bunch of folders, and in each folder was a blueprint with a hilarious evil plan. There were a lot of red herrings, but each plan has a drawing of a bomb. Only one of the bombs accurately represented the actual bomb, and it had the correct solution for the wire configuration to defuse the bomb.

This is the contents of the diary of Krampus. Inside are some silly drawings, but mostly there's the word scrambles. Solve them and take the circled letters and unscramble THOSE to get the password to the lock, which is GOAT (an appropriate password for Krampus).
