This is a small breadboard friendly breakout board for a standard LM7809 compatible LDO with a regulated output of 9V. The board includes both input and output capacitors, as well as a power LED, which makes it super easy to use on a breadboard. The input voltage can range from 10V up to 20V, with an output current rating up to 1.0A.

yea it's a little warm at 20V, the 7809 part is actually rated at 25V, but since this PCB is only 1oz copper, the max recommendation is 20V. the board has vias to the top and bottom copper, so it radiates pretty well... if you wanted to support 25V, you could have the board done in 2oz copper...
Hey! This is useful :) Does it get hot at 20V?
