Hi Dan - how unbelievably fortuious. I am just getting to the stage of looking for a way to attach servos to a project.

I am using micro servos's - only has to turn a lidar module.

I do have a 3d printer and wonder if you would be up for sharing you STL files for the prototypes..

Hey Stan,  My apologies for not replying sooner.  I appreciate the positive feedback!

At the moment, I am in the patent pending stage with Servo Socks and I think my patent lawer's head might explode if I shared the files.  Outside of this, I actually only have the files for my CNC router that is a custom setup as they are machined.  

At some point I may generate and share some files but I hope you can understand why I can't at the moment.

Sorry for the delay...been a whirlwind getting Servo Socks released.  The Servo Socks are made from 100% recycled HDPE plastic lumber which is very similar to working with wood (in some cases better because it doesn't split!)  They are CNC machined because they are solid and 3D printing solid would take far too ling to be economical.  Original prototypes were made that way.

Totally agree on the use for students, we are hoping that is our primary demographic!  They are also great because they encourage the use of everyday materials instead of a whole kit...that's why we call them the anti-kit :-)

What are the socks actually made of? Are they 3D printed?
