A laser-cut test fixture
01/27/2020 at 23:20 • 0 commentsOver the weekend I whipped together a quick acrylic fixture to make testing of the boards easier.
I made the design in Fusion 360, I got the model for the clamp directly from the manufacturer, Good Hand.
The design is fairly simple, it uses 2 pieces of acrylic to hold the PCB in place and align it with the clamp, then the clamp has a small 3d-printed part that allows me to attach pogo pins to it so I can toggle the clamp and lock the pogos onto the board.

01/26/2020 at 11:45 • 0 commentsIt's been a while since I worked on this project, but I am preparing to put the boards and keyboards up on Tindie so I can sell them.
In preparation, I had to clean up the mess that is the documentation and add some examples.
You can go here to see the documentation for the I2C protocol, feel free to submit PRs if something is missing or unclear.
I also wrote libraries for CircuitPython and Arduino so people who buy the PMOD have a starting point for their code, you can find them here and here.
I will publish another update when the Tindie listing is up.
