Love this. Wish I had the skills to replicate this. I cut my teeth on TRS-80's in the 1980's (the era of the dial-up BBS). Would love to have something modern in this setup. Very cool!!!
The monitor was the hardest part to find. But 12" is mainly used for Point of Sale Touch screen for businesses. Since I didn't feel like buying a $400 dollar touch screen, I looked on eBay and found one that the touch screen didn't work so I got it pretty cheap. And as I was test fitting everything on this I didn't want to ruin a good monitor. But now that I know what I can fit in the case the sky is the limit.
I wish there was some more information to go along with this!
I posted a bunch of pics under the Files section. But if you have any questions on what I had to do I would be glad to answer them. The biggest tool in this project was the dremel and careful measuring as to not mess up the case lol.
Why not add hard drive docks &/or disc drives in those floppy drive slots?
I was trying to keep it as factory looking as possible, but I did hook up the floppy lights to blink with the HDD and CPU. But It is still in the early phase so I might change stuff up as time goes.

Can you give some more information about the keyboard and how you installed it? I'm working on my own version of this and really like your implementation!
