Program the microcontroller

Flash the PIC using this compiled code.

Get the printed circuit board

You can order it (for example at JLCPCB or ALLPCB) or make it yourself using these GERBER files.

Solder the componentes

Do not solder the DE-15 connector nor the jack socket yet. Otherwise it will be difficult to solder the SCART wires.

Cut a SCART cable into halves

You will only need one of the halves.

Solder the SCART wires

The holes for the SCART wires are labeled E2,..,E21. Note than you don't have to solder all the SCART wires.

Remove the nuts of the connectors

You won't need the nut of the jack socket till the last step.

Solder the connectors

Solder the DE-15 connector and the jack socket.

Drill and cut the DE-15 enclosure

You can use this GERBER file to make two dummy PCBs that will help you to make the holes in the correct place as shown bellow:

Step 9

Fit the adapter into the enclosure and screw the bolts.

Close the enclosure and put the nut back in the jack socket.
