B.G.Micro now has both the Breakout Board and original IBM PCjr Joystick in stock! The joysticks are manufactured by Kraft and with the exception of the connector are the same joysticks available for Apple ][, Tandy Color Computer, and many more! This breakout board lets you experiment with interfacing to the joystick without cutting off the cable end. you can create adapters to other computers or interface to an Arduino!
Hey Hackers! I have a limited amount of free hardware for developers who are interested in hacking around with a classic analog joystick! If you are interested in getting this thing working with Arduino, some old school CPU, or hacking into a retro PC, I'll send you some free hardware as long as you post the info as a hackaday.io project! one example of a project would be to get this joystick working with the arduino library project documented here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-LeonardoMicro-as-Game-ControllerJoystick/
Tkanks, I would appreciate that but I think it's better wait for this covid situation to be behind us, what do you think? Neverthrless I did the testing using an old PC analog joystick that I had in my parts bin (please check my pages).
Did anyone get an extra one of these adaptors when they were available? I would love to have one for my CoCoPi project.
