Booze is a tiny beacon similar to tile in concept but the firmware is customizable and has a rechargeable lipo battery(3.7v, 60mAH) which is charged wirelessly. It has built in regulator, accelerometer, rgb led, button, 0.49" oled display and a buzzer. It uses nrf52832. I've uploaded the pcb design and the casing. It can be arduino compatible. I am planning to use a BT 5.1 instead of nRF52832.

Key Finders has many uses. To give you full details you can find more about key finders at wikipedia. Booze can be used to pair with a cell phone and when the connection is broken, Booze and the cellphone will ring. Also when the cellphone gets stolen and the cellphone is still in range, just press the button of Booze to make the phone ring with a very loud sound and vice versa, for example you attached your  Booze to your wallet and for some reasons, it gets stolen but it is within range, an android app is available which you can use to make Booze buzzing with a loud sound.

Another good use of Booze is that it can be capable to advertise a unique ID. Attach booze to your car. And when car gets stolen just tag Booze as stolen and other Booze users will be alerted and when they accidentally gets near that car and are able to received the unique ID of the stolen Booze, the cellphone will immediately record the location where it received the signal and alerts you. This is tile's concept, but we  can do more other than this, like for example, Booze is equipped with motion detection and an rgb LED.

Booze is still in concept stage, we plan to add a small Oled display and exposed other unused I/O pins to make it useable by the maker community.

Here is an old version of booze(early prototype):

  • 1 × U1 nrf52832
  • 1 × U2 Accelerometer
  • 1 × U3 Regulator
  • 1 × RGB Led
  • 1 × Tactile Button
