This gage is used to position the push-pull rods while connecting them to the Ball Bracket. The triangular portions are to support it during printing and are intended to be broken away before use. It nestles over the socket ball and the notches in the Ball Bracket to fully align the rods.

This part, along with the Alignment Clamp, is used to form the warm Shapelock into the eye mount. It also has four pockets for 1/4" Dia X 1/8" Thick magnets (K&J P/N ZD42E). An extra 4 magnets are attached to the back of the flange before use, so these extra magnets get embedded in the Shapelock during the forming process.
I recommend this part be printed in ABS and vapor polished so there is less for the Shapelock top stick to. I then recommend you coat this, and the Alignment Clamp, with a couple of coats of Smooth-on Ease Release™ 2831 before use too.

I mounted this to a piece of perf board to approximate the OpenMV camera. The bore of it is intended to accept the rod I used to measure heightsand pointing angle for the camera.

This plug is designed to mount in the finished eye holes and its bore is intended to accept the same the rod I used to measure heights and pointing angles for each eye. It also has four pockets for 1/4" Dia X 1/8" Thick magnets (K&J P/N ZD42E), so it will stay in the same place as the eye assembly.
