I stumbled upon a blog post by David Laws, written in 2015 for the Computer History Museum about how TTL overtook DTL. Fascinating read. TL;DR: Fairchild sticks with DTL, TI invests in TTL and becomes the leader. But the battle was not as clear cut as we now think in retrospect. Gordon Moore has a starring part.

Neat find. The text & especially the references look like credit to the CHM doing the work of a History Museum.
It catches my interest because solving #Tektronix 5D10 digitizer in 5441 (5440,5403) scope & #story time: fixing a Tektronix oscilloscope plugin gave me some awareness of the digi-analog twilight zone of pre-LSTTL logic (including OG TTL).
(and just fixed another plugin last night which prolly primed me to see this - but that fault/fix doesn't fit this theme)
