This daughter card is compatible and can mount ANY Vishay Heimdall IR receiver for carrier frequencies of 30, 33, 36, 38, 40 and 56 kHz and it can support any IR protocol. The optional temperature sensor is a DS18B20 and can be used to monitor the temperature inside the plug box.
The daughter card uses ESP8266 GPIO12 for the IR receiver and GPIO13 for the temperature sensor
