More proper software release
11/12/2019 at 12:54 • 0 commentsA more proper software release with Readme and License on Github.
Added UID readout, which is included in the URL as a parameter. Makes possible to have statistics on how many business cards are read via the NFC. So far the UID is just displayed on the web page using a JavaScript.

Workable software v0.1
11/06/2019 at 16:55 • 0 commentsIt was harder than I thought to find a good information (for free) about the NFC protocol standards. After reading countless application notes, datasheets, forums and what-not, I came up with the first workable software. I wrote a tiny standalone NFC library which supports generation of NFC Text and URI types of messages. Checkout on github: https://github.com/beast-devices/BeastCard

PCBs received
10/28/2019 at 22:42 • 0 commentsReceived the PCBs quicker than I thought. Looks almost as expected, but the the solder mask could be better. It is noticeable on the smaller text, and the quality is inconsistent.

Note the difference between these PCBs. The top one has worse solder mask quality, as the small text text is almost unreadable.
