The Board Files contain all the neccessary information to get the board made. Download the Files from here.

You find the neccessary gerber files in the 'PCBowTie_E2' folder of the project. To get the PCB populated you can have a look at the 'Manufacture' folder. You find information from PCBWay for Assembly.

Have a look at aliexpress to get 28 APA106 8mm LEDs for each bowtie. Also get a ESP12-E module.

You can find ESP12-E Programmer on aliexpress. Just look for one like this

Now get Circuitpython for the ESP8266 and flash it to the module as described here.

I got some LiPo batteries with charger and put a 2pin JST-PH connector on them.

I got elastic bowtie bands from aliexpress. They come in adjustable sizes. I also used rainbow cable with silicon glue to put everything together.

Plug in the battery and it blinks away.
