It would need ~20h for print one cabinet. -
2Mount the driver
1 - Break the last bottom layer (MK4_DX_LittleJet.stl) to free the canal (look inside the cabinet to see where he is)
2 - Push the 2 driver wires from the bottom, through the canal (you would need around 250mm of wires), into the cabinet.
3 - Pull out the 2 wires from the cabinet through the driver hole.
4 - Connect the 2 wires on the driver (there is a grey dot on the driver connector meaning the "hot pole", then connect there the +)
5 - Fill the cabinet with the polyester fiber
6 - Orient the driver with the connector looking down and force the wires to be close each other then:
insert the magnet in the driver hole starting from the top side, tilting it
then push the down side in, using the notch in the driver hole to let the wires pass easily
7 - Screw with four 3x10 or 3x12 screws -
3Mount the electronics boards on the base
You need:
4x - 3x5mm screw
2x - 3x5mm till 3x10mm screw
Screw in place the amplifier board with four 3x5mm screws; then screw in place the CSR8675 module with just one screw because you need to rotate it later (to connect the output wires)
Slide in the MAX97220 module, in the little slot on the left.
Push in the squared slot the B1205S converter. -
4Wires Connection - Boards
** You need a welder
1 - Weld 4 wires from CSR8675 to the MAX97220:
RP to R+
RN to R-
LP to L+
LN to L-2 - Connect from VCC+ and VCC- of amp board to he B1205S:
VCC+ to pin1 (confirm with your datasheet)
VCC- to pin2 (same)3 - Connect from B1205S to MAX97220:
pin3 to GND (confirm with your datasheet)
pin4 to VCC (same)
4 - Connect CSR8675 to the MAX97220:
VCC to VCC
GND to GND -
5Mount the panel stuff (jack 3.5 not yet)
1 - Push in the power switch
2 - Push in the power jack and fit the nut
3 - Push in the RCA jack and fit the nut -
6Wire the panel stuff
1 - Connect the power jack with the power switch (Attention to the polarity, the + is in the center of the jack)
2 - Connect the power switch to the amp board:
VCC+ with the +
VCC- with the -
3 - Connect the local driver wires to the board (then choose if is the left or the right)
4 - Connect the other channel to the RCA jack -
7Female 3.5 jack
1 - With a multimeter tester, map the pins of the female 3.5 jack (you will have 1 GRD pin and four pins, 2 for the line and 2 for the MAX97220)
1 - Use the 3 wires given cable (the one with the amp board) and weld the LRG to the female jack.
2 - Weld also 3 wires from LRG on the MAX97220 to the female jack.
3 - Insert the female jack into the 3.5 jack hole of the cabinet and put the nut from the outside till you can do manually. Give the last twist by rotating the entire jack. -
8Screw the base
1 - From the bottom of the cabinet, insert the volume pot arm through the "pot hole" of the cabinet.
2 - Push up the base from the bottom-behind.
3 - Screw four 3x20mm screws to couple the base to the cabinet.
4 - Attach 3 (or four) shock absorber bumpers -
9Second channel
1 - Repeat instruction number 2
2 - Insert and weld wire the RCA jack
3 - Attach 3 shock absorber bumpers on the provided pads
