Fixing the Lumia 435 Windows Phone.

Microsoft abandoned Windows Phone project. The app store is also closed. If you have an old Windows Phone you can still use it through the browser. 

But my Lumia 435 was broken. Doesn't charge anymore and so it doesn't turn on.

I've decided to open it an try to power it through the + and - battery contacts, but it doesn't work. 

I know that the problem was in the micro usb port, since before putting it apart I remember that I had to play wih the cable to let it work. Until it stopped charging.

So I've opened it some more and soldered two wires directly to the pin 1 (which is 5volts) and pin 4 (which is GNF) of the micro usb socket.

After this small operation I've closed it

Finally I've cutted an usb cable and connected to the two wires and it charges!

Now I can reuse this phone!

Let's make the LEGO cinema

The LEGO cinema was assembled playing with my daughter, so it is not extremely curated or perfect, but it's really nice, I've made it flat using those tiles that has no joint so the phone can slide in easily. I've also made a push button that allows to press the power button of the phone without pulling out the smartphone!

Than I've made a web script with PHP.

The LEGO CINEMA php script

The cinema is made with PHP, Javacript, CSS.

It search for a random GIF on different sites (Tenor.com, Trif.it, Gif.tv, and more...) and show a GIF for a bunch of seconds, than load another GIF. And so on and on.

The GIFs should be chosen from safe sites since I've made this gadget for children.
