I made a basic variable power supply 2 yrs ago. At first, the variable power supply contains a switch that is implemented after the transformer. Over time I implemented the switch before the transformer, making the other switch useless. Recently I used a empty olive oil container (I cleaned it and dried it) as an enclosure box for the power supply. I almost painted the the enclosure box white. I used hot glue to attach the circuit in place.
