Description

The input is a fader and a switch to enter single characters: a-z, 'space', '!' , '?' and numbers from 0-9. To send a message the most right position on the fader will do so.The reciever indicates an incoming message with a vibration.The code is not done yet. The setup is unidirectional for the moment. Not sure how the communication is done within the LoRaWAN. A few days ago I found Meshtastic.

Hey, this is point to point only via LoRa. There is no LoRaWAN here.

Due to a risen interest in this project i look for some free time to push the development. It should not be to complicated. What do you think about 2D-Data transmitted via Lora? I think about drawings on a touchscreen..

2D sketch transmission...might be a fast and convenient way for input, Will depend on resolution and intended use case. Your slider input still is the most compact one I´ve seen so far without using additional external devices.

na, a second chunky button/switch would be to much. i think a "hold button" for numbers and a double click for -send- could work.
