After putting them in place I placed the electrolysis sacrificial anode and cathode (tree) in the bucket and soldered the leads to the earth battery copper pipe cathode and zinc bolt anode.

Though if you look at the picture you will notice that in my excitement I totally forgot to paint the hot glue and shrink tube in conductive paint. When I realized that I pulled it out and ran in to the house and rinsed it, dried it, and painted it with india ink, since my kid offered it to me from her craft supplies.
